So, finally getting driving out of the way to get that license! Woot! Finished a cosplay for Mecha-con VII- in roughly 42hrs! (i know right?!) It was decent, and the only thing I didn't feel comfortable wearing out were my shoes since I didn't have time to make them look more like ninja shoes -_- As easy it was to make Haruno Sakura's Time Jump/ Shippuden outfit, I realize there are sooooooo many things I could've done better. I DID figure out how to turn a zipper though, just like hers, so that felt accomplishing. Although i really wish i could've hidden the back of the zipper on the skirt but I kinda WAS in a rush. But, what's done is done though! I actually didn't want to go to Japan Fest 2012, so I ended up moving my room around. I NEEDED to find a place to put my autographed Nightwish poster. This, was a must. I saw Nightwish live at the House of Blues. Made my night. I got to meet Marco first, he was chillin on the side smoking so i said "hey!" only I was slightly starstruck. But that night BLEW my MIND! O_O I'm not really into metal music all that much, but Nightwish has a WIDE variety in all of their songs. I love that classic Disney/ Lord of the Rings feel to the songs, and i LOVE the band members. Although I'm rather upset with Anette for quitting in the MIDDLE of the tour, but what's done is done and I'm sure it was for the best since poor thing's always in the hospital =/ But hey, if she didn't quit, there could've been a possibility of the New Orleans show getting canceled or ending early. And I think Floor did an AMAZING job helping Nightwish out, and she was an excellent fill-in-singer. She seemed like a combination of the old and new singers from Nightwish, so I really liked her style and how she sounded with their music. So, this is my boring journal for like, the next year xD
to all my cosplay friends, i wish you good luck in every way. You have my blessings and I hope all of you succeed in doing what you do!!
